Bishop David, I confess that I have not listened to your Thought for the Day broadcasts, but I did listen to your pre-General Synod interview by the Rev Rob Warren. Thank you for your gracious words on the close relationship between the Scottish Episcopal Church and the Episcopal Church in the US. I’m forever grateful to the SEC for giving us our first bishop, Samuel Seabury.
I was delighted to hear that Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori will be a guest at your Synod and that the warm and historic ties between the two churches continue.
